Civilian version of our USAF APPROVED AIRCREW OPERATIONAL SUNGLASSES.
This version incorporates a spring hinge making it an upgrade to our original USAF approved version.
Lenses: Finest sunglass lens quality, safety polycarbonate by Zeiss, in Neutral Density Grey N-15 color, 99.9% UVA & UVB Protection and compliant with military flight standards.
Design Features: Lens shape is an exact duplicate of the AFF-DR Aircrew spectacle. The bayonet temples feature a spring hinge assembly only available on this commercial version. The spectacle frame meets or exceeds all ANSI Z87.1 -2003 safety standards.
Materials: The spectacle front is made of monel 400 material with a proprietary monoblock endpiece design for extra strength. The bayonet temple is made of 18% nickel silver material. The temple screws are stainless steel with self-locking collars. The nose pads are silicone for added comfort.
Electrophoretic Coating: The finish is the latest technology which produces an extremely durable coating that is resistant to chemicals, fluctuations in temperatures, ultraviolet light and corrosives.
Carrying Case: This case features scuba material, a protective interior lining and a unique belt-loop design.
